katepowerscreates.org is run by Kate Powers (Kate Powers Creates). By using the site, signing up for a free resource, joining an event or program, or buying a product, you agree to these terms. Questions go to [email protected].

Education, not treatment

My books, guides, scripts, programs, workshops and coaching share what I have learned as a special educator, a parent and a person rebuilding my own life. They are for education and support. They are not medical, mental health, legal or therapeutic advice, and they do not replace care from a qualified professional who knows you or your child. If you or someone in your care is in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Purchases

• Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Payment is handled by a secure payment processor.
• Digital products are delivered by email or download link when your payment goes through. If something does not arrive, email me and I will sort it out.
• Subscriptions, such as the Note Card Club, renew each billing period until you cancel. To cancel, email me before your next renewal date.
• Refunds are covered in my refund policy.

Events, programs and coaching

Dates, places and details for events, programs and coaching sessions can change. If something you signed up for changes or is cancelled, I will let you know using the contact details you gave me.

My work stays mine

The writing, illustrations, guides, scripts, recordings and other materials on this site and in my products belong to me. You are welcome to use what you buy or download for yourself, your family, or the children and students in your care. Please do not resell, republish or share copies with others without my written permission. Schools and organizations that want to use my materials with a group can email me about licensing.

Using the site

Please use the site and its forms honestly and lawfully. Links to other websites, such as Amazon or BookFunnel, are there for your convenience; those sites have their own terms and I am not responsible for them.

Limits

I work hard to keep this site accurate and working, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect losses that come from using the site or my materials, and my total responsibility for any purchase is limited to what you paid for it.
